(April 13, 2006): information and awareness campaign in connection with the period during "Easter Week" in which informational leaflets on good practices in road safety and sweets are distributed in different gas stations in Barcelona (according to a study by the "Engineering Research Institute of Aragon", at the University of Zaragoza, consumption of sweets and chewing gum improve the capacities of attention and perception of the drivers in situations of extreme tiredness; a beneficial effect has been shown by their consumption, on the level of carefulness and capacity of response of drivers on the road).

Giving of an Award to the team of journalists from the television program "Els Matins de TV3" in recognition of their involvement in road safety issues.
