The City Council of Merida marked the Second European Road Safety Day with a series of events
|

The Municipal Corporation will hold an extraordinary plenary session on Friday, to join the European Road Safety Charter. This will be followed by the simulation of a traffic accident, and on Monday there will be a bicycle ride through the city. |

MERIDA:
The city does not record any mortal traffic accident since June 2007. |

Driving under the influence of alcohol, talking on the phone at the steering wheel, stepping on the accelerator too hard ... An explosive cocktail whose flavor can adquire a bitter taste as it is transformed into a road mortality. And it seems that the people of Merida have not wanted to try this drink in the past year and a half. |
